unit 23- school sports week
I am working with Michael White.
The sporting event we are choosing to lead is Archery.
We have chosen Archery as it is a Olympic event and that it is fun and challenging and is a skillful event rather than a physical event in which the most athletic participants are the best.
The focus of the session is to teach the participants a basics understanding of the Olympic sport.
This will include knowledge in the sport, best athlete etc.

Self Evaluation Of My Coaching Review
On Monday 19th September 2011, Our Coaching Unit attended St Michaels Primary School to coach the year 6 pupils about the Olympic values. I was assigned to demonstrate the Olympic value Equality. i had to teach a small session that would educate the pupils about equlaity.

First Olympic Value Festival
i didn't attend the Olympic value festival due to a mix up with the meeting times and the location of the festival.
Therefore I will make sure i know where the next festival is and attend the Festival
Session Plan:
-Set Up
-Clear On Content ( what I am going to do/say)
-Stopwatches/Timers
-6 Minute Rotation
-Rotation- one leaders stays at station whilst the other leader escorts the group of pupils to next station
